The general education program prior to 2023 is referred to as Intellectual Foundations. From fall 2006-spring 2014, the program is known as IF. Undergraduates who entered Buffalo State during the fall 2006 to spring 2014 complete the Intellectual Foundations (IF) program. From summer 2014-spring 2023, the program is known as IF 2014. Undergraduates who entered Buffalo State during the summer 2014 to spring 2023 complete the Intellectual Foundations 2014 program.
